Pokémon World Championships postponed to 2022

The Pokémon World Championships have been postponed to 2022, according to The Pokémon Company.

The championships were to take place in London in August 2020, but were postponed to next August due to the corona virus. Now the organizers have decided to postpone the event again to 2022.

“After consideration and guidance from local, regional and national health authorities, as well as the World Health Organization, Public Health England and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we have made the tough decision to move the next Pokémon World Championships to 2022. The event will take place in London. ”

Online Leagues in Pokémon Players Cup, The Play! Pokémon Team Challenge and League at Home will continue.

The championships include the championships in the RPGs, fighting game Pokken Tournament DX and the Trading Card Game. A new date has not yet been announced.
