The photos include actors James Marsden and Tika Sumpter. You can also see how props from Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are placed. These puppets serve as a stand-in for the digital, moving versions of the characters, which are added afterwards to the filmed material.

Production of the sequel started earlier this year. At the beginning of this year, the sequel to the successful first film was officially announced via a teaser in which the logo was revealed. It showed the two tails of Tails, indicating that the sidekick plays an important role. The second film is set to hit theaters on April 8, 2022.

The first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, based on Sega’s eponymous game series, was a great success: the film raised nearly $ 320 million worldwide. Sonic’s voice is voiced by Ben Schwartz, while James Marsden and Jim Carrey (Dr. Robotnik) also star. Below you can see the teaser again.
