Microsoft will broadcast a livestream on April 10 detailing new information about the Age of Empires franchise.

Game journalist Jeff Grubb of VentureBeat hinted earlier this week that there would be a livestream around the franchise. Microsoft has now announced that the video will be shown on April 10 at 5:00 PM Dutch time, including on AgeofEmpires.com, Twitch and the Xbox YouTube channel.

In the ‘Age of Empires Fan Preview’, new gameplay from Age of Empires 4 will be shown, including the game’s campaign. There will also be more news about Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition.

Age of Empires 4 revolves around the Middle Ages. In a first trailer that can be seen again below, the Mongols and the British are shown. It is not yet known when the game will be released. It is clear that the game is immediately coming to Game Pass for PC. Age of Empires 4 is being developed by Relic Entertainment and the new Microsoft studio World’s Edge.
