New variant of Defender is equipped with a V8 engine

Land Rover unveiled the new Land Rover Defender V8 , the full-range version of the well-known all-terrain model of the British brand that assumes the status of the most powerful and fastest version ever.

The new Defender V8, arrives in the versions of three and five doors (90 and 110) and equipped with a 5.0 liter V8 engine capable of delivering 525 hp of power and a torque of 625Nm, coupled to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

These numbers allow the more muscular version of Defender to accelerate from 0 to 100KM7h in 5.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 240 km / h.

To safely put all its power on the ground, the new Defender 4×4 benefits from changes at the chassis level , where changes in the suspension stand out, with springs and shock absorbers with new adjustment, larger stabilizer bars, as well as a rear differential the active and electronically controlled one, helping to reduce body oscillation in the tightest curves.
