Fujifilm comes with photo printer to print Switch screenshots

Fujifilm and Nintendo are collaborating on a photo printer to directly print screenshots taken with the Switch.

With the Instax Mini Link Photo Printer – that on its functionality is similar in technology to other Instax devices from Fujifilm – Polaroid-like photos can be printed based on screenshots from the Switch. Illustrations of various Nintendo characters can also be placed on the photo.

The screenshots taken on the Switch can be linked to the new Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch app for smartphones can be copied, from which can be printed via the Instax Mini Link. All kinds of filters and 59 different frames based on Nintendo games such as Animal Crossing, Super Mario and the April 30 New Pokémon Snap can be added to the app.

The hardware itself will also be released on April 30th. Not only in Japan and the US, but also in Europe – although a price in euros is unknown. The device costs $ 100 in the US. A bundle with a sleeve for the Pikachu-style device will also be released in May. It will cost $ 120.
