Finsbury Park attack: Two people taken to hospital after a man is stabbed during drunken fight

Two people were taken to a significant injury centre after a man was stabbed during a drunken fight in a north London park.

The Metropolitan Authorities stated they were called to Finsbury Park, Haringey, quickly after 2.40 pm on Tuesday.

Officers were reacting to reports a group of men were intoxicated and combating in the park.

Authorities discovered one man with a stab injury to his abdominal area.

The force stated his injuries were life-altering or not lethal.

Authorities stated a second man had a small injury to his hand.

A 3rd man was apprehended on suspicion of severe physical damage.

The London Ambulance Service stated it was called to reports of a “stabbing and assaults” quickly after 2.50 pm.

A representative from the service stated: “We dispatched 3 ambulance teams and an occurrence reaction officer.

” We dealt with 3 people at the scene and took two to a significant injury centre.”
