Coronavirus: Deaths linked to COVID-19 have fallen to six-week low, official figures show
The variety of deaths linked to coronavirus in the UK has fallen to its most affordable level in 6 weeks, according to the current figures from the Office for National Data.
It stated 4,210 deaths including COVID-19 were signed up in England and Wales in the 7 days to Friday 15 May.
The is the most affordable overall considering that week ending 3 April, when 3,801 coronavirus-related deaths were signed up.
The ONS stated the portion of deaths including coronavirus “continued to decrease across all English regions”.
The highest local variety of COVID-19 deaths – 620 – remained in the North West for the second successive week.
In Wales, 180 deaths were signed up in the week to 15 May, representing 23.3% of the overall.
