In Deathloop, players arrive on a lawless island called Blackreef. In Deathloop, players can explore the island filled with impressive environments in the way they wish. They are given the task of taking out targets all over the island to eventually end the cycle, the Deathloop.

Deathloop is being developed by Arkane Studios, the developer of games such as Dishonored and Prey. The studio is part of Bethesda and thus ZeniMax, which will soon be acquired by Microsoft.

Deathloop is out May 21 on PlayStation 5 and PC. The game will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 for consoles for a year before it can appear on other consoles. However, the deal to release the game for a limited time only on PlayStation 5 was made before negotiations between ZeniMax and Microsoft.
