Black activist and popular social critic Cornel West on Sunday connected the continuous demonstrations in America to anger over the “vicious legacy of white supremacy” and the “collapse of the legitimacy of leadership.”

“The beautiful thing is we’re seeing citizens who are caring and concerned. They’re hitting the streets,” the Harvard Divinity School teacher informed Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.”

“The problem is we have a system that’s not responding and seems to be unable to respond,” he added.

While demonstrators throughout the country are objecting the death of George Floyd, a Black guy who was eliminated recently throughout an arrest by white Minneapolis law enforcement officer, they’re likewise emerging versus a decomposing social order, West showed.
