The General Administration of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced the extension of the ban on entry for foreigners until further notice, based on the instructions of the health authorities.
It added in a statement posted on “Twitter” that The work will be extended by the decision to prevent non-Kuwaiti passengers from entering the State of Kuwait until further notice, with the continued entry of Kuwaiti passengers and subject to institutional quarantine in one of the approved local hotels for a period of 7 days and the completion of the period of quarantine for the other 7 days in home quarantine.
Concurrently, the security and health authorities took measures to keep up with the return, with an emphasis on preventing entry of any passenger on incoming flights to Kuwait except by registering on the (Kuwait Traveler) platform. In addition, 45 hotels announced their readiness to receive returnees and coordination with civil aviation in this regard.

During the institutional quarantine period of 14 days for those coming from high-risk countries (the 35 previously banned countries, to which 33 new countries were added), and 7 days for those coming from other countries.
In this context, the administration announced General Civil Aviation that all passengers th Coming by direct flights from high-risk countries will be required to quarantine a local hotel for a period of 14 days at their own expense by registering on the “Kuwait Traveler” platform as of today. As for the rest of the passengers coming from other countries, they will be required to enter the institutional quarantine in a hotel. For a period of 7 days, at their own expense, by registering on the “Kuwait Traveler” platform, provided that they complete the quarantine period for another 7 days at home.
And the “Civil Aviation” clarified that these new procedures will be implemented. Its application, starting today, comes according to the instructions of the health authorities, to face the repercussions of the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid 19), especially after the emergence of mutated strains, according to the Kuwaiti “newspaper”.
