Today the nominees in eighteen categories revealed. The Last of Us: Part 2 has a chance to win in the categories best animation, best music, audio performance, technical performance and ‘games that go beyond entertainment’.

Sony games generally received many nominations. Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Demon’s Souls, Ghost of Tsushima and Dreams have a chance of winning one or more prizes.

Indie game Supergiant Games’ Hades was nominated eight times, including Best Game, Best Game Design, Best Music, and Best Story. Besides Hades and The Last of Us: 2 things Ghost of Tsushima, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Half-Life: Alyx and Spider-Man: Miles Morales more for the best game price.
