Elon Musk’s tweets drive stock prices. An investor fears that he will endanger the well-being of the company and is suing the Tesla boss.

Not only the US Securities and Exchange Commission has had enough of Elon Musk’s tweets. A Tesla investor fears for the well-being of the company and wants to put an end to the boss’s Twitter activities. Chase Gharrity has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk in Delaware State Administrative Court.

The lawsuit states that Musks is risking his “unpredictable.” Tweets “Fines and penalties from the supervisory authorities and thus falling share prices.

Board should control Musk

The lawsuit is also directed against the company’s board of directors. Gharrity accuses board members of “repeated failures in the implementation and use of internal controls related to the oversight of Mr. Musk.”

After Musk im The US Securities and Exchange Commission determined that Tesla might be privatized in the summer of 2018. Since then, Musk has had to comply with certain regulations on issues relating to finance and acquisitions.

With his recent tweets about Dogecoin and Bitcoin, Elon Musk had the stock market prices soaring – and attracted the attention of the SEC again.

In the lawsuit, Gharrity Musk is now accusing of having violated the requirements with several tweets within the last few weeks and thereby causing considerable damage to the company.
