Florida Republican Politician Rep. Ted Yoho revealed some contrition on the floor of the House for “the abrupt manner” of an outburst he let loose on New york city Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) on Tuesday.

The Hill reported that Yoho stated “f**king bitch” in referral to Ocasio-Cortez after the conflict.

Yoho at first rejected the claims and declared he ‘d just informed the New york city representative she was “bullshit” while confronting her over claims she made connecting financial insecurity to a rise in criminal offense in New york cityCity

In his declaration Wednesday, Yoho invoked his spouse and children to make the all-too-familiar claim that having women in his family makes him mindful of the methods women are belittled.

“Having been married for 45 years with two daughters, I’m very cognizant of my language,” Yoho declared.

Yoho stated his offensive words were not spoken straight to the congresswoman.

“The offensive name-calling words attributed to me by the press were never spoken to my colleagues,” Yoho declared. “And if they were construed that way, I apologize for their misunderstanding,” headded

While using some contrition, Yoho stated he would not excuse his “passion, loving my God, my family or my country.”
