'Starfield will be unveiled this summer, will be released this fall'

Starfield, Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi game, was set to be unveiled around E3 and released sometime this fall.

That’s what journalist Jeff Grubb claims in a Dealer Gaming livestream. Grubb regularly leaks information about upcoming game releases and announcements and is often right. For example, earlier this week he leaked the Age of Empires live stream revealed today.

According to Grubb, there is about a 90 percent chance that Starfield will be on or around E3 will be revealed and the game will be released later this year. According to him, that is Bethesda’s current schedule, although this can always change, for example due to the corona virus.

Starfield was announced at E3 2018. A teaser was shown – which can be seen below – but in-game footage was not forthcoming. In the years since, Bethesda has announced that the game is still delayed. Microsoft has since bought up Bethesda, which may only release Starfield on Xbox consoles and PC.
