Sony has announced that it is working on a next-gen VR system for PlayStation 5.

The announcement of the new vr system was made via a blog post . In the message, Hideaki Nishino, vice president of Sony, writes that the new system should deliver the ultimate VR experience.

“Players will experience an even stronger sense of presence and become even more immersed in game worlds by putting on this new headset,” said Nishino.

Sony further reports that they are bringing everything they’ve learned since launching PS VR on PS4 to make an even better product. Almost everything needs to be improved, from resolution to field of view. The device can be connected to the PlayStation 5 with one cord and is also very easy to use.

The vice president also says he is very proud of the new VR controller. This contains various functions that we know from the DualSense controller and puts a lot of focus on ergonomics.

Finally, Sony mentions that the vr system will not appear in 2021. There is still a lot of work to be done.
