Rakhi Sawant has never minced words, in life real or reel. As the recently-concluded Bigg Boss 14 proved again, she utters whatever comes to her mind without trepidation. “I am very upfront. Whatever comes to my mind or my heart I just say it. There is no filter in my heart or my mouth,” Rakhi tells IANS.
Rakhi, who gained popularity courtesy her dance numbers such as Pardesiya, Jhagde and Dekhta hai tu kya, reached the top five in the grand finale of Bigg Boss 14 after entering the show mid-season as a challenger. She was brought in to create some fireworks in an otherwise boring season, and she did live up to her tag of being a drama queen.
Finally, she chose to walk out of the show in the finale by accepting a briefcase containing Rs 14 lakh.
Rakhi’s mother Jaya is currently undergoing cancer treatment in a city hospital. Sohail Khan and Salman Khan have come to her aid. Sohail said in a video, “Rakhi my dear, if you and your mummy need anything, call me directly. I have never met your mom but I know you. If you are a strong person and I wonder, how much strong your mother must be. I wish her a speedy recovery and just be the daughter like you are and everything will fall in place. If you need anything, just call me directly. I’ll see you soon and I will talk to her whenever she is well enough. All the best. Take care.”
Actress Kamya Panjabi took to Twitter to applaud the Rakhi’s journey in the show despite her mother not being well. “Well dis is Rakhi’s 1st post aft bb14 finale,i m numb I hv no words, some1 who entertained da world so much past few months,was goin thru dis? Can u even imagine? Koi tujhse kya mukabla karega @IAMREALRAKHI tu toh sabse upar aur sabse anokhi nikli..u r a winner in life #Staystrong (sic),” posted Kamya.
