A group of police officers in Blackburn are self-isolating after a colleague checked positive for coronavirus following a retirement party at the regional station, the force has actually verified.

The Lancashire Constabulary officer developed signs and checked positive for COVID-19 on 21 July.

They were identified with the infection after going to a “retirement gathering” at Greenbank Police Station in Blackburn, the force added.
