PM asks CEO PIA to submit restructuring plan of the airline in a week

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday directed the Pakistan International Airline Companies (PIA) Ceo (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik to speed up restructuring plan of the national flag provider and to present to him a framework in a week’s time.

The prime minister asked him to carry out the restructuring in assessment with his Advisor on Institutional Reforms Dr Ishrat Hussain.

Air Marshal Arshad Malik informed the leading concerning continuous settlements with European Union Air Travel Safety Firm (EASA) to ensure PIA flight operations for Europe. The CEO likewise informed the PM Imran concerning restructuring of PIA so as to make it a leading and rewarding airline.

The premier stressed that the federal government was pursuing a throughout-the- board reforms program to make organizations effective and service oriented.
