West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday declared that her federal government was not getting essential help from the Centre to combat COVID-19 and it depended on its own resources to tackle the crisis. Banerjee, who was participating in a conference of health center agents at the state secretariat, stated the health department will acquire 2 lakh masks and 30,000 gloves.
Resolving reports that markets and stores will be closed down as a preventive procedure versus the pandemic, the Trinamool Congress chief stated those spreading out rumours will be tracked and taken to job.
