No stone will be left unturned in assisting those affected by cyclone ‘Amphan’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Thursday. The cyclone has left a minimum of 12 people dead and harmed facilities in West Bengal. “Have been seeing visuals from West Bengal on the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan,” the prime minister tweeted.
In this tough hour, the whole country stands in uniformity with West Bengal, he stated. “Praying for the well-being of the people of the state. Efforts are on to ensure normalcy,” he stated. National Catastrophe Action Force teams are operating in the cyclone-affected parts, he mentioned.
“Top officials are closely monitoring the situation and also working in close coordination with the West Bengal government. No stone will be left unturned in helping the affected,” he stated. The prime minister stated his ideas are with individuals of Odisha as the state fearlessly battles the impacts of the cyclone. The authorities, Modi stated, are dealing with the ground to ensure all possible help to the thoseaffected “I pray that the situation normalises at the earliest,” he stated.
