Nintendo Tokyo Store customers can now earn My Nintendo Gold Points with their purchases

As you all know, Nintendo has several official stores to buy different video games and merchandise of all kinds related to its franchises. They are called Nintendo Store , the most popular being that of Tokyo . On the other hand, by acquiring physical and digital games, Nintendo Switch users can get My Nintendo Gold Points . To do this, they simply have to download the game in their account (in the case of games in digital format) or register them on the console (in the case of games in physical format) and in this way they can use them, either to reduce the price or buy games or complete DLCs in the Switch eShop.

Well, we get good news that links these two elements. It turns out that from today, all customers of the Nintendo Tokyo Store will be able to recover 1% of the amount of their purchase in the form of My Nintendo Gold Points . To claim this bonus gold coins, customers will need to show their My Nintendo QR code to staff when making a purchase at the store.

This is the message they shared:

Starting today, if you show the QR code of your Nintendo Account at the time of paying at Nintendo TOKYO, 1% of the purchase price will be returned as My Nintendo Gold Points. Points earned can be used to purchase download software, etc. in the Nintendo eShop.

It should be remembered that 1,000 yen=10 Gold Points. However, it should be noted that it is not clear if this offer is exclusive to those with Japanese My Nintendo accounts.
