New Porsche 911 GT3 can now be seen opening

Porsche introduced the new 911 GT3 by improving the sportiness of its high-performance road car with the reinforcement of technology from the competition.

The seventh generation of the GT3 receives virtually unchanged the atmospheric 4.0-liter 6-cylinder in-line engine with 510 horsepower that equips the new 911 GT3 Cup for competition.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 offers a choice between the 6-speed manual or the 7 PDK automatic.

The technology of the competition is present from one end to the other, from the front debuting a diffuser that precedes the front axle with overlapping triangles in the configuration until the giant ‘goose neck’ rear wing (from the 911 RSR).

Porsche guarantees that the aerodynamic gains of this evolution (the new 911 GT3 achieves another 600 kg of ‘downforce’ at maximum speed) do not “noticeably affect” the drag coefficient and reinforce the performance in high speed corners when the wing and rear diffuser are manually adjusted to run exclusively on circuits.
