New documentary about Nintendo history in the making

Crackle will air a five-part documentary series about the history of Nintendo from March.

That reports Deadline. The series is called Power: The Nintendo Story and is written and directed by Jeremy Snead. Actor Sean Astin (of The Goonies and Lord of the Rings films fame) guides viewers through the history of the Japanese company with his voice.

series is to cover more than a century of history. Various people have their say, including former Nintendo America director Reggie Fils-Aime and current Xbox head Phil Spencer, as well as actor Wil Wheaton.

Crackle is a streaming service previously owned by Sony. The service is currently not officially available in the Netherlands.
