Netflix is casting seven new roles for The Witcher season 2

Netflix has added seven actors to the cast of The Witcher for season 2. The Hollywood Reporter says that.

Some of the characters are also featured in the video game series. For example, Graham McTavish (The Hobbit) plays the master spy Dijkstra and sorceress Philippa Eilhart is played by Cassie Claire (Brave new World).

Adjoa Andoh is also known to play the priest Nenneke, Liz Carr and Simon Callow can be seen as detectives Fenn and Codringher and Chris Fulton as Rience plays. Finally, the series would also introduce a character called Ba’lian, played by Kevin Doyle (Downtown Abbey).

The Witcher season 2 follows a number of short stories and the beginning of Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel series. According to Netflix, the story revolves around Geralt’s journey to Kaer Morhen Fort, where he investigates the powers of the girl Ciri.
