Italian rider was off the grid for 2021

Andrea Dovizioso is going to do a test with Aprilia at the Circuit de jerez on April 12 to ride the RS-GP 2021 of the Italian team that will compete in the MotoGP World Championship.

In a statement, Aprilia announced the completion of the test referring, through Massimo Rivola, that it will only be an opportunity for the two parties to get to know each other better “without compromises for the future.”

Andrea Dovizioso was “pleased with Aprilia’s interest” having “gladly accepted the invitation to be able to ride a MotoGP bike again and keep in shape giving feedback to engineers ”.

The Italian driver three times runner-up in the premier-class, he left Ducati at the end of the contract in 2020, proposing a gap year in relation to MotoGP.

Aprilia riders for the World Championship 2021 who did the tests pre-season players in Qatar are Aleix Espargaró and Lorenzo Savadori.
