Miguel Oliveira: “The future is for this young generation”
Portuguese rider points to a “solid result” in the fourth race of the season
Miguel Oliveira believes that the future of MotoGP is in the new generation that is appearing in the premier category of motorcycling of speed and, for his part, he hopes to achieve a result at the Spanish GP this weekend that reverses the beginning of the season so far disappointing.
“Nowadays, a lot of work is needed to get here and to continue here. It was already difficult to be here, but in the last five to seven years it has become even more difficult. The future is for this young generation. ”
At a conference of press quoted by the Lusa agency, the Portuguese KTM rider admitted that he hopes that in Jerez de la Frontera the ‘tire theme’ that has been involved in controversy “is not a topic” and believes that it will be possible, this time, to get a good result.
“We want to have a solid result. We have potential. In Qatar and Portimão we were among the strongest to achieve good results, but it was not possible to achieve the results we wanted. ”
The Spanish GP is the fourth race of the MotoGP World Championship, which is led by Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), and the riders will go to the Jerez track this Friday.
