A brand-new documentary about Michelle Obama is set to be launched next week.

The Netflix show will supply a “rare and up-close look” at the former first girl throughout the time she started a trip to promote her narrative, Becoming.

Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the movie will take audiences behind the scenes, Netflix states, highlighting “the power of community to bridge our divides and the spirit of connection that comes when we openly and honestly share our stories”.

Mrs Obama stated the movie shares the stories of the “amazing” people she met throughout her trip.

In a declaration, she stated that while it is “hard these days to feel grounded or hopeful”, she hopes “like me, you’ll find joy and a bit of respite in what Nadia has made”.

She likewise attended to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, stating: “Even as we can no longer securely feed or collect off the energy of groups, even as much of us are coping with sorrow, solitude and worry, we need to remain open and able to put ourselves in other individuals’s shoes.

” Compassion is our lifeline here. It’s what will get us to the other side.

The Obamas signed a production handle Netflix in 2018, and Becoming originates from their Greater Ground Productions business.

Netflix likewise shared a trailer for the documentary, revealing Mrs Obama, whose hubby Barack was president from 2009 to 2017, at a neighborhood event in Philadelphia.
