Bharatiya Janata Party’s Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who took oath as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for the 4th time, won the floor test in the state Assembly on Tuesday by voice vote.
According to PTI report, as the unique session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly started, Shivraj Singh Chouhan moved a one-line proposition to look for the trust of your home. Chouhan all passed the floor test as SP, BSP, and independent MLAs enacted favour of the movement. Significantly, not a single Congress MLA existed in the state Assembly at the time of ballot.
Not Long After the Shivraj Singh Chouhan won the floor test, the state Assembly was adjourned till March27 In the early morning, the BJP provided whip to its MLAs to support the trust vote.
On Monday, Shivraj Singh Chouhan took oath as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for the 4th time, over 15 months after his federal government was voted out ofpower The 61- year-old BJP leader took oath at Raj Bhawan at 9 pm. He was sworn in by Guv Lalji Tandon.
Commonly understood amongst his followers as” Mamaji”, Chouhan was sworn in as chief minister of Madhya Pradesh thrice previously – in 2005, after Uma Bharti stepped down over a riots case, and for later on 2 full terms in 2008 and 2013.
He stepped down after the Congress won a narrow bulk in the December 2018 Assembly elections, after which the Kamal Nath federal government pertained to power.
Stymied by the disobedience of party coworker Jyodiraditya Scindia, who signed up with the BJP and resignations of 22 Congress MLAs, Nath resigned as chief minister recently, paving method for Chouhan” s return.

Previously, Congress veteran Kamal Nath resigned as chief minister just recently, leading the way for development of the BJP-led federal government.
