The video will be on Thursday, March 4 at 3:00 PM broadcast and hosted by Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai. The presentation takes approximately 35 minutes. Nintendo insists that no other fighters will be announced. However, the release date of the new character, which is part of the second Fighters Pass, will be revealed.

Pyra and Mythra are both from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It pair counts as one fighter with the same moves, but with different appearances. They are part of Fighters Pass 2, which previously featured Min Min from Arms, Steve from Minecraft and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7.
