Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman welcomed, on Friday, the commitment of US President Joe Biden to work with the allies against the attacks of Iran and its proxies.
He said in a series of tweets on His official Twitter page, “We look forward to working with friends in the United States to meet the challenges of the region.”
He also added, “The Kingdom affirms its continued support for diplomatic efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution in Yemen according to the three references and its support. Yemeni political and military legitimacy in the face of the Houthi militia supported by Iran on all fronts and firmly. ”
We welcome President Biden’s stated commitment to work with friends and allies to resolve conflicts, and deal with attacks from Iran & it’s proxies in the region. As we have for over 7 decades, we look forward to working with our friends in the US on addressing these challenges.

This came after US President Joe Biden announced Thursday that it would continue to support Saudi Arabia in defending its sovereignty and territories from threats by forces supported by Tehran.
He said in a speech from the Foreign Ministry, his first on the international policies of his administration, Thursday, “Saudi Arabia is facing attacks from an Iranian-backed force.”
He also announced the cessation of support for combat operations in Yemen. He stressed the importance of ending the war in Yemen.
