If you have ever seen the first season of the animated series of Pokémon GO , you will remember the Squirtle Squad , which included the Squirtle who finally captured Ash.

Well, recently the user Rjbelz has posted on Reddit a nifty idea on how to Niantic could deploy the Squirtle Squad in Pokémon GO as a variant of Team GO Rocket . It is the post, it states that these could be found randomly and that, if you beat them, you could get “stolen” objects to other players, while if you lose it would be the player who the would lose.

The latter would refer to the misdeeds that the Squirtle Squad was engaged in, stealing objects from trainers they came across on the way.

Squirtle Squad should be part of the game, as a fun alternative to the Rocket Grunts from pokemongo
