Bennet is known among other things from the movies The Girl on the Train, The Devil All The Time and Swallow. It is still unknown which character she will portray from the games.

In recent months, Lionsgate has revealed several new actors for the film. Kevin Hart plays the character Roland, Tannis is played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana Greenblatt plays Tiny Tina. It was also recently announced that Florian Monteanu plays the character Krieg and that Jack Black can be heard as the robot Claptrap. Finally, Lilith is played by Cate Blanchett.

The Borderlands movie is directed by Eli Roth and written by Aaron Berg and Craig Mazin. A release date is still unknown.
