The federal government is likely to increase the cost of electricity in between Rs1.5 and Rs2 per system, which will put an extra problem of more than Rs162 billion on individuals, according to a news channel.

The channel’s report declared that the federal government is thinking about raising the cost of electricity which will put additional problem on individuals currently caught in inflation and joblessness due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It declared that the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will take a decision in this regard on June 3.
