Google waived exclusive Stadia titles from Hideo Kojima and Yu Suzuki. Sources report this to Video Games Chronicle.

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is said to be working on an episodic horror game for the platform, which was canceled last year. Kojima may have referred to the project in an interview in which he expressed his indignation at the cancellation.

Other major titles that were canceled include a game from Rock Band creator Harmonix, which is said to be “ as good as ready, ” and a sequel on Journey to the Savage Planet. The game is said to be more action-packed and larger in scale.

Finally, VCG reports that a multiplayer action game called Frontier was in the works. Splinter Cell producer Francois Pelland’s project was canceled this month.

On February 1, Google announced that it was closing all studios of the streaming service. A new report from Bloomberg reveals that Google spent ‘tens of millions’ of dollars bringing in titles like Red Dead Redemption 2.
