A white policeman hugged a five-year-old black girl during a George Floyd demonstration after she began crying and asked “are you gonna shoot us?”

Simone Bartee was out opposing with her moms and dads in Houston, Texas, on Saturday when she break into tears.

A passing officer saw the schoolgirl was upset and put his arm around her when she asked him: “Are you gonna shoot us?”

In a quote to assure her, he offered her a hug and stated: “We’re here to secure you all right? We’re not here to harm you at all.

” You can oppose, you can party, you can do whatever you desire.”

When he saw she was crying, The officer hugged Simone.

The psychological minute was caught on video by her moms and dads Sion and Simeon, who were seen cleaning away her tears later on.

The family- of-three were marching over the death of George Floyd, 46, an unarmed black male who passed away in Minneapolis after white law enforcement officer Derek Chauvin pushed his knee versus his neck for more than 8 minutes.

He passed away quickly after shouting: “I can’t breathe”.

Mr Chauvin deals with charges of second- degree murder, while 3 of his colleagues who existed stand implicated of abetting and helping.

Mr Floyd’s death has actually stimulated protests throughout the United States and the world, with thousands breaking coronavirus limitations to show their uniformity.
