George Floyd death: Man arrested after driving car into protesters and shooting demonstrator

A man has actually been arrested after driving his car into a crowd of protesters in Seattle prior to shooting a demonstrator who challenged him.

Video from the scene shows the car appearing to speed up towards the crowd prior to striking a barrier, as people can be heard shrieking “Oh God! Oh God! No! No!”.

Protesters surround the car as it pulls up and a man on the motorist’s side is up to the ground after what noises like a gunshot.

The motorist later on leaves the car and seems displaying a weapon.

He then heads into a crowd of people.

The victim is a 27- year-old black man who remains in a steady condition in healthcare facility, according to Seattle firemens and eyewitness video.

Other images from the scene revealed protesters forming a protective ring around the victim prior to he was assisted up by medics.

Authorities were heard asking the crowd to bring him in for treatment.

He was seen leaving – supported by the medics – and being taken into an ambulance.

The suspect remains in custody and a weapon has actually been recuperated.

Authorities do not think there were any other victims.
