Ford’s bet in the world of eSports reinforced with the entry into play of the world’s best-selling pick-up

Ford continues to invest heavily in the world of eSports and has now announced a partnership with video game producer Psyonix, to start counting its F-150, the best-selling pick-up in the world, in the popular video game ‘Rocket League’.

The animated version of the pick-up is part of the popular video game ‘Rocket League’, in which vehicles occupy a prominent position when competing in football games.

The Ford F-150 Rocket League Edition will be available to purchase from 20 to February 28 in the game’s online store and the pack includes a ‘Chairman’ decal, two sets of F-150 wheels, audio with the sound of the F-150 Rocket League Edition engine, the F-150 boost and a banner for the player.

The arrival of the F-150 to the ‘Rocket League’ is yet another reinforcement of Ford’s presence in the gaming world, after spons successful domains in other titles, such as ‘Forza’ and after having passed Team Fordzilla P1 as a sports prototype.

In addition to the emergence of the virtual F-150 for the eSports world, the North American brand will sponsor the ‘Ford + Rocket League Freestyle Invitational’, a tournament with a panel of judges before which a selected set of players show their best moves and tricks in the game.
