Spanish rider was operated on for a fracture of the upper jaw after being hit while riding a bicycle
The Formula 1 driver, Fernando Alonso, left this Monday the hospital of Bern in Switzerland, where he was interned, after being run over while training on a bicycle.
The two-time Formula 1 world champion, who this year returns to the championship with the Alpine was discharged from the hospital, according to a statement from the Spanish pilot’s team in a statement, after having been under observation for 48 hours after the operation a a fracture of the upper jaw.
In the statement Alpine F1 says that Alonso will continue his recovery at home and that he will be ready to start the season on March 28, in Bahrain.
