In its latest report, Gartner estimates that end-user spending on such services worldwide is expected to increase by almost a quarter (23.1 percent) over the previous year. This means that spending will rise from about $ 270 billion in 2020 to about $ 332.3 billion.

Gartner expects SaaS offerings to generate $ 122.6 billion this year, but the fastest growth is expected in the IaaS and DaaS segments (38.5 and 67.7 percent, respectively). analysts see the cloud as the binder among many other technologies that CIOs want to use more of. This will have a subversive effect on the market, to put it mildly, Gartner said.
