With this he refers to a trailer that was partially leaked two weeks ago. Grubb speculates that Bandai Namco is currently investigating exactly how the images were leaked and possibly adjusting the reporting around the game. The reveal may be postponed to June, when a digital version of the Electronic Entertainment Expo takes place.
The leaked images prompted predictions around an announcement in March. Officially, Elden Ring was last shown on its announcement in 2019.
