Deiveson Figueiredo wants bantamweight gold to add to his flyweight title.

Figueiredo states he is open to superfights, and he wants to be able to hold both flyweight and bantamweight gold. And he hints that it does not indicate he’s going to win the greater weight class’ title and after that leave the flyweight one.

“I’ll accept a superfight if they want to give me one,” Figueiredo stated. “I’ll move up to 135. I want to be a two-division champion, but I’m going to defend this belt as well.”

While Figueiredo enjoys to have won the title he’s been going after, he understands the journey is far from over.

“Now that I have the belt, I have to train very hard. I’m the guy that everyone wants to beat, so I’m the guy that everyone is looking at.”
