Cupra starts production of Formentor e-Hybrid that hits the market in March
Formentor is Cupra’s second plug-in hybrid model
Cupra announced that it has started production of the new Formentor e-Hybrid, which will hit the market in March.
According to the Spanish brand, in the first weeks it will reach a production of 100 units per day , thus contributing to the reduction of global CO2 emissions and to the fulfillment of European targets.
The new Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid combines a 1.4 TSI petrol engine with 150 hp (110 kW), a 115 hp electric motor and a 13kW lithium battery to offer a combined power of 245 cv, a maximum torque of 400Nm and a range of up to 55 kilometers in 100% electric mode.
Combining efficiency with efficiency, the Cupra Formentor e-Hybrid 245 cv accelerates from 0 to 100km / h in just 7.0 seconds and has a consumption of 1.4 liters / 100km and emissions of 31g / km, according to the cycle of hours official WLTP approval.
The 204 hp version develops a maximum torque of 350 Nm and completes the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 7, 8 seconds.
Both driving solutions use the DSG double clutch housing, which ensures faster and smoother gear changes.
