A world-renowned cosmetic surgeon who separated adjoined twins 4 years earlier has actually passed away after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

Dr James Goodrich, a paediatric neurosurgeon at New York City City’s Montefiore Medical Center, passed away on Monday after suffering problems associated with COVID-19

“Dr Goodrich was a beacon of our institution and he will be truly missed,” Montefiore Medication CEO Dr Philip Ozuah stated in a declaration.

In a tweet the medical facility stated: “The Montefiore neighborhood is grieving the loss of Dr James T Goodrich.

” Not just was he an elite cosmetic surgeon, throughout the years he was a generous coach and instructor who shared his craft with lots of young cosmetic surgeons who wished to follow in his steps.”

Emad Eskandar, head of the medical facility’s neurosurgery department, added: “Jim remained in lots of methods the body and soul of our department.

“A master surgeon and a world-class educator, and a beloved colleague for all.”

The medical facility stated Dr Goodrich, initially from Oregon, functioned as a Marine throughout the Vietnam war.

It was throughout this time he chose to pursue a medical profession.
