The new President and CEO of Siemens, Tamás Jeránek (50), has been working for Siemens Zrt. Since 2012 as the head of the Digital Industries area, and since 2020 he has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Under the management of the specialist, the turnover of one of the company’s flagship businesses multiplied, the number of employees in the field doubled, and large-scale digitization projects were carried out at several large automotive, rubber, pharmaceutical, chemical, metallurgical and cement customers. Prior to his Siemens career, Tamás Jeránek managed his own company and held management positions at a multi-company.

Until 2020, he was a member of the board of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for four years, and since 2017 he has been a member of the National Competitiveness Council. His outstanding work has been recognized with many honors, most recently by the President of Hungary with the Middle Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit in 2021.
