Capcom again achieves record profit

Capcom reports record profit for the fourth year in a row.

From the report of the company shows that in the past financial year (April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021) it generated approximately 705 million euros in turnover, an increase of 16 , 8 percent from the year before. The profit amounted to about 261 million euros, an increase of 51.6 percent.

Capcom cites the increased digital sales and the release of Monster Hunter Rise (5 million copies shipped) and Resident Evil 3 (3.9 million copies shipped).

It also says older titles like Monster Hunter World and Resident Evil 2, and Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition fared well.
