The House of Representatives of Georgia, United States, approved on March 8 a new study program in financial education for high school students, which includes bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a topic.

The bill, which has a half-sanction, requires state education officials to implement a financial education study program for tenth and eleventh grade students.

The proposal was presented on the day March 1 and approved on March 8, with 169 votes in favor and 2 against. The project was sponsored by six Republican candidates and has been sent to the Georgia Senate for further deliberation.
