Army observes Eid in solidarity with Kashmiris
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Personnel (COAS) Basic Qamar Javed Bajwa has stated that the army was observing Eidul Fitr solemnly in solidarity with held Kashmir which is under India’s “illegal and inhuman lockdown and ensuing atrocities” considering that its addition in August in 2015.
The army chief made these remarks while going to the Line of Control (LoC), the de facto border in between Pakistan and India along Kashmir, where he used Eid prayers with the soldiers.

In a series of tweets posted Sunday night, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) priced quote General Bajwa as stating that India was attempting to detract international attention from the “worsening humanitarian crisis and violence” in occupied Kashmir by targeting civilians throughout the LoC.
He added that the valley cautioned and was a disputed location that any effort to alter its disputed status, “including any political or military thought of aggression” would be reacted to by military power.
