Arctic Trucks unveils more radical version of the new Toyota Hilux
New version of the well-known pick-up of the Japanese brand won extra arguments for the all-terrain vehicle
The preparer Arctic Trucks, known for its transformations at Toyota Hilux, decided to reinforce the radical image of the Japanese brand’s pick-up in order to provide this well-known model with extra capacity for off-road.
Based on the Invincible double-cabin version of the new Toyota Hilux, which will hit the national market in the first quarter of this year, Arctic Trucks made some changes, including increasing the height to the ground by 65 mm, in order to improve the attack and exit angles by 9 and 3 degrees respectively.
Among the main changes also include adjustments to the chassis, as well as to the inside of the wheel arches, and the body.
Arctic Trucks provided this radical Toyota Hilux model with 17-inch wheels and BFGoo tires 35 ”KO2 All-Terrain drich.
The suspension system system has been completely revised to include Bilstein shock absorbers with springs in the front, while the stabilizer bar rear was revised and the stroke of the dampers increased by 40 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear.
In addition to these changes, Arctic Trucks also reviewed the front and rear differentials in order to better distribute the torque and allow better handling of this pick-up.
In terms of engine, this version of the Hilux is equipped with a 2.8-liter four-cylinder block that delivers 204 horsepower, 500 Nm torque and a six-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota has already made it known that for now this special version of Hiliux is only available to order to the United Kingdom.
