Amjad Sabri remembered on fourth death anniversary

KARACHI: The fourth death anniversary of famous qawwal Amjad Farid Sabri was observed on Monday.

Amjad, the kid of distinguished qawwali vocalist Ghulam Farid Sabri, was shot dead in June 2016 in Karachi’s Liaqatabad location. The obligation was later on declared by prohibited militant attire TTP which stated it eliminated Sabri for dedicating “blasphemy”.

The nephew of Maqbool Ahmed Sabri of the renowned Sabri Bro, Amjad began singing qawwalis at age of12 Sabri continued his family’s tradition and often took a trip to the United States and Europe where he made the label of “rock star” of qawwali.

A Few Of his most enjoyed pieces consist of Tajdar-e-Haram, Bhar Do Jholi Meri, Jis Ne Madine Jana, More Haji Piya, Tauba Qubool Ho Meri.

Amjad was put to rest in Karachi with his funeral gone to by countless his fans.
