Marcos Parrumpinha, a trainer at American Leading Team and jiu-jitsu coach for existing UFC champ-champ Amanda Nunes, has tested positive for coronavirus and is currently in quarantine.
Per a report from Combate, Parrumpinha’s positive test began June 25 in Las Vegas, NV, in the days leading up to UFC Vegas 4. Parrumpinha was arranged to be a part of Luis Pena’s corner in his UFC Vegas 4 included initial bout versus Khama Worthy.
The positive COVID-19 test required Parrumpinha to be quarantined in his hotel space, where he still stays since press time. He will stay in quarantine up until he gets an unfavorable test.
